| Resumo: | This project aims to determine the economic value of installing rooftop solar panels in Portimão, Portugal. After collecting data, a model was built to calculate key performance indicators (NPV, IRR, Payback Period, and LCOE) and consequently determine the optimal installation size and economic value of a solar panel installation. This research is expected to serve as a stepping stone to encourage people to invest in clean energy, and therefore contribute to the objective of achieving net-zero emissions. |
