inventariação no novo programa utilizado, o in arte, e sobre a conservação e restauro,
reduzido, e também à apresentação da história à própria comunidade This internship report aimed the inventory of the museum collection as well as updating the existing knowledge about the archaeological sites in the county. For both inventories, photographic records and bibliographical research were carried out, in order to develop the recognition of artifacts and, also, of the territorial space. This research has shown that many of the information about the sites is very similar, but, also, interesting for future archaeological works. Unfortunately, for many of the sites location is not known and others are currently destroyed. To simplify and organize the report, the inventory chart of the archaeological sites is divided by parishes with their subtitles and in each one. As far as to the inventory of materials, it opens by the number given by the museum, period and subtitle. It was also possible, throughout the internship, to have an insight on the museum management in the autarchic area, from the process of artifact collection to exhibition, its inventory (using a new program, in arte), and its conservation and restoration, through a cautious cleaning of some species. As the study focused on the Municipal Museum of Porto de Mós, I found pertinent to create a chapter related to the museum storage, exhibiting the work of Joana Amaral and the Museums Law. This study will help to improve knowledge on archeology in the area of Porto de Mós municipality, poorly known, and I hope it will help to present to the community its history. |
