Abstract(s)
ABSTRACT: This study forms part of a doctoral work of Dr. Maria Joao Gouveia, whose aim is to study the impact of physical activity of oriental inspiration in well being, and analyze some psychological and mediators processes. The aim is to identify the psychological variables of promoting spiritual well-being (SWB), relating to the practice of physical activity of gym (FAG) and yôga. The objectives of the study are to analyse the predictor effect of Disposicional Flow (DF) in SWB, and the effect of the type of physical activity on levels of BEE and DF. Our sample is for convenience, consisted by 173 individuals (yoga 103, AFG 70). It was used a methodology of investigation, a cross-sectional correlational with design and comparison. The results of the study confirmed the predictor effect of DF in SWB in some domains (balance task competence, involvement in the task, control sensation, alteration of the time, and autotélic experience) and the effect of the type of physical activity on levels of BEE, and the FD. It is suggested in a future study the analysis of the mediator effect of BEE in the relation between the type of practice of physical activity and the levels of DF.
