Abstract(s)
This study aims to realize the importance of a collaborative portal in the national health servisse institution to unify the creation, distribution and knowledge validation. This study qualifies, as the approach as a qualitative nature of research and the aims, as a study to explore the open ource alternatives available on the market and research strategy was the case study. The collection of information necessary for the development of this work was conducted with the stakeholders in the management process, management, knowledge creation, as well as to users of the tools available. Realize what the main difficulties in the use of these instruments and howhey would feel more comfortable in the performance of its obligations while improving response time by task to accomplish. The results were assessed by analysis of information gathered during all phases of the project and allowed over time to predict possible changes needed to believe this work. This study stems from the need of the institution to replace the existing portal because, on the one hand, no longer has support has been discontinued by the manufacturer, on the other, begins to show various system instability problems including difficulties in accessing information and its own integrity. To these obstacles must be added the fact that the portal depend on a mechanism for Single Sign-On (SSO) for access to much of hospital applications and mechanisms are not implemented to overcome a failure of this mechanism that can result in a catastrophic failure of the entire system and paralyze access to these tools work, vital for the normal functioning of the institution. The aim of this study was to present a solid alternative, believe it, and present it in a long term perspective in the institution and redundant components to minimize the impact of a failure in any part of the system.
