A pedagogia nos festivais de violoncelo

Abstract

O objetivo do presente trabalho foi o de relatar o conhecimento e toda a experiência retida do Estágio Profissional da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada na Escola Profissional de Música de Espinho ao longo deste ano letivo, e o de compreender o impacto da participação em festivais de música, mais especificamente de violoncelo, no ensino do instrumento. De forma a obter informação relevante acerca do tema, foi feita uma pesquisa abrangente de fontes de informação científicas que apresentam testemunhos reais deste impacto e da pedagogia aplicada em festivais de violoncelo. Pretendeu-se ainda explorar e adquirir um conhecimento mais amplo sobre a origem, história e evolução dos festivais de violoncelo, tanto em contexto nacional como internacional, e acerca do ensino do violoncelo nos mesmos, apresentando as principais atividades pedagógicas e a motivação gerada nos alunos pela sua participação. Os conceitos explorados neste trabalho foram amplamente estudados, de forma a fazer um paralelo com a literatura existente e o contexto atual. Da análise dos resultados conclui-se que a participação em festivais de violoncelo tem um impacto significativo ao nível das competências técnicas, artísticas e pessoais dos alunos participantes.

The aim of the present research was to report the knowledge and all the experience retained from the Supervised Teaching Practice at the Escola Profissional de Música de Espinho throughout this school year, and to understand the impact of the participation in music festivals, more specifically cello festivals, on the teaching of the instrument. In order to obtain relevant information on the subject, a comprehensive search was made for scientific sources of information that present authentic testimonies of this impact and of the pedagogy applied in cello festivals. It was also intended to explore and acquire a more comprehensive knowledge about the origin, history and evolution of cello festivals, both nationally and internationally, and about cello teaching in them, presenting the main pedagogical activities and the motivation generated in students by their participation. The concepts explored in this work were widely studied, in order to make a parallel with the existing literature and the current context. From the analysis of the results, we conclude that the participation in cello festivals has a significant impact on the technical, artistic and personal skills of the participating students.
