A Evolução Doutrinária da Logística das Pequenas Unidades

Abstract

Este Trabalho de Investigação Aplicada subordinado ao tema “Evolução Doutrinária da Logística das Pequenas Unidades” tem como objetivo analisar a doutrina existente e, face à reestruturação do Exército, verificar quais as implicações para as Pequenas Unidades escalão Grupo e escalão Esquadrão, nomeadamente Grupo de Carros de Combate e Esquadrão de Reconhecimento da Brigada Mecanizada. Para este trabalho procurámos analisar a doutrina existente relativa à temática da Logística das Pequenas Unidades e ainda os Quadros Orgânicos das unidades referidas anteriormente. Efetuamos ainda entrevistas a Oficiais portugueses participantes em missões em Teatros de Operações no exterior com funções de Oficial de Logística ou Comandante da Companhia de Apoio. Da conciliação entre a análise da doutrina e dos Quadros Orgânicos retiramos algumas conclusões, sendo a mais importante o facto dos manuais existentes estarem desatualizados no que diz respeito à orgânica e ao material, mas em relação aos procedimentos que descrevem são utilizáveis e têm aplicação nos Teatros de Operações no exterior.

Abstract This research study under the theme “Doctrinal Evolution of Logistics for Small Units” aims to analyze the existing doctrine and, given the restructuration of the Army, which are the implications for Small Units rank Battalion and Squadron, namely the Armored Battalion (GCC) and the Reconnaissance Squadron (ERec) of the Mechanized Brigade (BrigMec). For this work we tried to analyze the existing doctrine concerning the subject of Small Units Logistics and also the structure of the units mentioned above. We have also carried out interviews to Portuguese Officers who have background in missions outside Portugal, with the role of a Logistic Officer or the Support Company Commander. Of the conciliation between the analyzes of doctrine and the structure of the Small Units in study, the most important conclusion we have is the fact, that the existing manuals are outdated in terms of the material used and structure of the units, but the procedures that it describes are usable and have applications in the outside Theaters of Operations.
