Abstrakt
Tööturg on pidevas muutumises ning lähtuvalt sellest peavad ka kõrgkoolid pidevalt
uuendama omalt poolt pakutavat haridust, et valmistada õpilased ette tööturule
sisenemiseks. Eesti hariduspoliitikas on pidevalt üleval olnud debatt, et vähendada
sarnaste erialade õpetamist mitmes ülikoolis, on selle õppe tulemuslikkuse uurimine
aktuaalne uurimisteema. Sellest tulenevalt on käesoleva töö eesmärgiks välja selgitada
Eesti Maaülikooli (EMÜ) majandus- ja sotsiaalinstituudi vilistlaste lõpetamisjärgne
tegevus tööturul, sh nende hõive, tegevusvaldkond, nende hinnangud omandatud
haridusele. Analüüsis kasutatakse 2016. a. ettevõtlusõppe programmi Edu ja Tegu käigus
EMÜ-s läbi viidud vilistlaste ettevõtlusuuring ankeetküsitluse (küsimused 4-9) andmeid.
Töös võrreldakse EMÜ majandus- ja sotsiaalinstituudi tulemusi teiste instituutide
tulemustega ning uuritakse nende seoseid praeguse tegevuse vahel.
73% majandus- ja sotsiaalinstituudi vilistlastest olid uuringu hetkel palgatöötajad, teiste
instituutide vilistlaste seas olid palgatöötajad 70% vastanutest. 29,9% majandus- ja
sotsiaalinstituudi vilistlastest töötab finants- ja kindlustusalal, teiste instituutide vilistlaste
seas on kõige enam (25,2%) neid, kes töötavad põllumajandusega seotud aladel.
Tegevusvaldkondade lõikes analüüs näitas hii-ruut test statistiliselt olulist erinevust ehk
kõige rohkem majandus- ja sotsiaalinstituudi vilistlasi töötab tertsiaarsektoris (78,9%),
teiste instituutide vilistlastest töötab tertsiaarsektoris 47% vastanutest. Majandus- ja
sotsiaalinstituudi vilistlastest 39,1% teenib üle 1201 euro, teiste instituutide vilistastest
teenib 35,3% üle 1201 euro.
Üldiselt saavad vilistlased pärast lõpetamist ametikoha, mis on seotud õpitud erialaga.
43% majandus- ja sotsiaalinstituudi vilistlastest vastas, et ametikoht on kindlasti seotud
õpitud erialaga. Lõpetatud aasta lõikes hindasid kõige kõrgemalt õpingute ja praeguse
tegevuse vahelist seost, need vilistlased, kes on lõpetanud enne aastat 2000.
The labor market is constantly changing, and, on this basis, higher education institutions must constantly reshape their education programs to prepare students for entering the labor market. There has been a constant debate in Estonian Ministry of Education on reducing the amount of similar disciplines in several universities. Thus the outcomes of graduate education e effectiveness of these measures is an interesting research topic. Therefore, the aim of this work is to find out the post-graduate activity of students from Economics and Social Studies Institute of the Estonian University of Life Sciences (EULS) on the labor market, including their employment status, field of activity and opinion on acquired education. The analysis consists of data, received from a questionnaire survey conducted in EULS among its alumni in 2016. The results received of Economics and Social Studies Institute are compared with the results from other institutes and their connection with the current situation is also investigated in this work. 73% of graduates of Economics and Social Studies Institute were employees at the time of the survey, 70% of the respondents from other institutes were also having a paid job. 29.9% of graduates of Economics and Social Studies Institute were working in finance and insurance field, majority of respondents from other institutes (25.2%) were working in agriculture. The analysis of the sector of activity revealed that 78.9% of Economics and Social Studies Institute graduates worked in tertiary sector, while in case of respondents from other institutes the share was only 47% of . 39.1% of graduates of Economics and Social Studies Institute earn more than 1201 euro; in case of other institutes their share was 35.3%. In general, graduates are able to get work linked to their degree. 43% of Economics and Social Studies Institute graduates have answered that their job is definitely in a field of profession related to their degree. The graduates that finished their studies earlier (before 2000) admitted that studies had definitely equipped them with the skills required for corresponding workplace.
