¿Nostalgia de posmodernidad? Una aproximación al arte culto descafeinado.

Abstract

El tema de las tensiones entre original y copia, entre objeto y su reescritura, afecta directamente al núcleo central de buena parte del arte y de la literatura de los últimos años. Conceptos como remake, fake, o apropiación se han tornado habituales hoy en muy variados ámbitos artísticos. Y, sin embargo, una peculiaridad parece afectar (en mayor o menor medida) a este hecho en la actualidad: su posicionamiento conservador y de vuelta a una particular concepción (trastocada para funcionar a-críticamente) de lo moderno, e incluso pre-moderno.

The tension between original and copy, between object and its reformulation, has directly influenced the central core of much of the art and literature produced in recent years. Concepts such as remake, fake or appropriation have become common practice in a wide range of artistic domains. However, this situation is affected ‒to a greater or lesser extent‒ by one particular factor: its positioning as custodian and the return to a particular conception (disrupted by acritical functioning) of modern and even premodern work.
