Projeto de reestruturação do abastecimento de uma família de produtos de uma empresa da indústria automóvel

Abstract

O presente documento reflete a essência do Projeto levado a cabo, cujo propósito residiu na apresentação de propostas alternativas ao método atual de abastecimento e recolha de postos de trabalho específicos. Por forma a propor soluções alternativas que se ajustassem ao caso prático, era preponderante perceber o que tornava o procedimento atual ineficiente. Como alternativas ao método atual levantaram-se como hipóteses a implementação de um sistema de transportadores ou o recurso a um comboio logístico. Com o intuito de comprovar a viabilidade das soluções, estudou-se o princípio de funcionamento e avaliaram-se as soluções propostas à luz dos indicadores que a organização considerava como os indicados para apoiar a tomada de decisão, sendo estes: o Overall Equipment Effectiveness e Total Cost of Ownership.

In this paper the lector is going to be able to have an approach of what the Project consisted of. The main objective of the Project was to propose alternative solutions to the actual method of supply and picking up of particular workplaces. In order to conclude what solutions would suit the case study, it was necessary to first understand the philosophy behind the problem. In the end, it was considered that either a combination of two conveyors types or the milk run vehicle were two possible solutions to apply in the field. On one hand it was necessary to see if the principle of work was applied. On the other hand, it was a major issue to analyse the potential earn in the overall equipment effectiveness with the application of one of the methods and to realize also a cost analysis, based on the principle of total cost of ownership.
