2nd Oscar Iden Lecture given by Anne Armstrong who lectured on "New Diplomacy." She remarked on the scope and complexity of the challenges of diplomacy and on the nuclear era if we fail to meet those challenges with a peaceful method of diplomacy. She remarked on interdependence, the problems new diplomats have to solve, terrorism in modern diplomacy, economics worldwide, foreign and domestic issues, and public diplomacy.
