Description
Letter books: Copy book of letters sent. 1843-1845, 1883-1908: letters concern the sale of land, standards set for hired help, relations with tenants, interest payments; and other financial matters. Letter written by Thomas Mulledy, dated March 25, 1844, concerns Henry Johnson's payments. Joseph Zwinge added records to this letterbook, selectively transcribing letters sent regarding capital improvements, particularly investments in land and buildings.
