The edge detection in SAR images is hampered by speckle noise. An approach based on Jensen-Shannon divergence has not been able to solve the problem completely. To solve this problem, a method has been implemented that identifies the actual edge points and separates them from the introduced noise. Repeated filtering is used and the JSD image is converted into a graph, which is then transformed into a tree using the Union Find Kruskal algorithm. The start and end points of the boundary are selected and the Depth First Search (DFS) algorithm is used to find a path that connects them, and the points are plotted for better visual understanding. The results are satisfactory with detailed edge detection and valuable information about the analyzed surface.
