Resumen
In the development of this work, the implementation of the Demand Driven methodology for planning will be executed, making an initial diagnosis of the situation of the company or state of the art for Multidimensional; the company is part of the Phoenix Group, with presence in more than 33 countries, its focus and economic activity is the development and manufacture of thermoformed plastic packaging, injected, aluminum caps, high barrier sheets, aluminum tubes and disposable products. Multidimensional, it is part of the group of industrial packaging production companies, the Food Service and Mass Consumption, also estimated as a leader in the Latin American industry. The theme of this work revolves around the methodology under which the company is currently executing its planning which operates under a market with a 50% Forecast Accuracy in the last 2 years, the Back Order levels continue to grow and the OTIF The company is not competitive in the market. The purpose of the methodology is to change the input under which plan generates requirements for purchase orders and work orders, which today has a low assertiveness and generates increasingly larger inventories, forcing the company to work under a push methodology. Having clear the variables that affect the planning process and with sales and consumption histories, the company can migrate to a pull methodology, which will allow it to reduce its Back Order level, increase the Service Level (OTIF), reduce the Inventory and Increase Manufacturing Liquidity to increase throughput.
