Incursión de la flauta traversa en formato de ensamble. Estructuración e interpretación de tres temas latinoamericanos, a través de la adaptación de géneros y el uso de elementos armónicos de fusión.

Abstract

Llanera is a music genre that is getting more and more welcome at university level due to its vitality and the demands it presents for the performers. In part, this is also due to the influence of the fusion works that have been made by groups such as Ensamble Sinsonte and Guafa Trío. This degree work seeks to leave a palpable and documented account of my experience with llanera music, and the fusion of other unconventional genres and harmonies with the llanera tradition. I have selected three songs for this experience, one of which is from the tradition: Apure en un viaje, a llanero passage, which demands virtuosity from each of the performers. In addition, a venezuelan merengue: El Moscorrofio, which is usually played by the llanera music performers, whichs difficulty is reflected in the management of the metric in 5/8. Finally, I have decided to include a brazilian waltz: Desvairada, adapted to the same llanero instrumental format, where the flute has been added as main instrument and protagonist. I had to make the arrangements of the songs and kept a work diary to document the whole process.
