The paper describes the implementation of the overset grids approach into a finite volume Navier-Stokes simulation tool. The algorithm is capable of handling an arbitrary number of overset grids using a priority-aware algorithm to determine the grid interface in the overlapping regions. Results of cylinders in a channel performing vertical oscillations are shown and compared with results obtained using the deforming mesh technique.
