Araştırma, Aydın Regülatörünün sağ sulama ana kanalı boyunca seçilen
yaklaşık 5500 ha’lık bir alanda yürütülmüştür. Bu alanda mevcut 15 yer altı ve 4
yerüstü su kaynağından Mayıs – Temmuz – Eylül aylarında olmak üzere, toplam 40
örnek alınmıştır. Bu örneklerde pH, EC, CO 2

sertlik, Na, K, Mg, Ca ve ağır metallerin (Fe, Mn, B, Zn, Cr, Co, Ni, Cd, Pb)
analizleri yapılmıştır.
Elde edilen veriler standartlarla karşılaştırılarak su örneklerinin kalite sınıfları
ve kirlilik durumları tespit edilmiştir.
Mn, B, Co, Cr, Ni, Cd, organik madde, sertlik, EC, K, Mg, Na, SAR, ESP
parametrelerin sulama suyu için belirlenmiş sınır değerlerin oldukça üzerinde olduğu
ortaya konulmuştur. Bu nedenle 7 nolu nokta hariç diğer su kaynaklarının sulama
suyu olarak kullanılabilecek nitelikte olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca bazı
parametrelerin konsantrasyonlarının örnekleme dönemleri arasında ve noktalar
arasında istatistiksel önem arz eden farklılıklar gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Topraktan
gübreler ve tarımsal ilaç kalıntıları ile yeraltı sularına karışan ağır metaller, yer altı su
seviyesindeki alçalıp yükselmeler, yer üstü su kaynaklarına karışan endüstriyel ve
evsel atıkların içerikleri bu değişimlerin sebebi olarak değerlendirilmiştir.

pH, EC, carbonate, bicarbonate, nitrit, nitrate, sulphate, chlorine, water
hardness, Na, K, Mg, Ca, and heavy metal (Fe, Mn, B, Zn, Cr, Co, Ni, Cd, Pb)
content analyses were performed.
Quality classes and pollution condition of water samples were determined by
comparing with standarts and the results obtained from the analyses.
The results showed that parameters of Mn, B, Co, Cr, Ni, Cd, organic matter,
EC, K, Mg, Na, SAR, ESP, water hardness were quite higher than the limits
determined for irrigation water. Therefore, these water sources were not classifed as
irrigation water having good qualities.
In addition concentration of rowe parameters were found statistically
significal some sampling terms and points.
Fertilizers and pesticides coming from agricultural areas, heavy metals,
changes in level of aunder ground water, industrial and urban wastes were reparded
as the possible reasons these changes.
