This thesis examines five movements and fragments for orchestra composed by Anton Webern, which were discovered and published in 1971 by Hans Moldenauer. Included in the publication are three complete orchestral pieces and portions of two others, which are incomplete due to lost pages of the original manuscript. The date of 1913 has been assigned to the group by Moldenauer. The movements are titled or marked Bewegt, Langsam (sostenuto), Sehr bewegte Viertel, Langsame Viertel, and Alla breve.
