How has the mini skirt law impacted gender equality among women under article 33 Uganda Constitution?
Abstract
This study was to investigate the relevance of the gender equality on women on the mini skirt law of view following the constitution of Uganda article 33. The intention of the study was to justify and evaluate why there is gender equality affecting women that dress in mini skirt in the fashion sector and to analyze the subject matters. The study was based on various objectives such as equal opportunities, less gender discrimination, human rights improved and many others. The research provides the impacts of the gender inequality towards the women in generally since it is believed that they make up the average percentage of people who work in fashion. The research methodology employed in the study was adopted by qualitative and quantitative data in which the study population and these helped in the collection of data and information in order to add the sample findings that accessed in terms of calculations which helped in the research study to know how to evaluate the topic within its part of the limit in the investigation. The purpose of this study is to understand the relevance of the gender equality in the article 33 Ugandan constitutional towards the women’s rights due to a various number of increase in their assaults such as violence, discrimination and disrespect especially after the miniskirt law was passed on which has highly
impacted then women and girl child in the societies such as schools, institutions, workplaces. The findings in the research enabled the researcher to understand the way the women’s rights were suppressed through the different instruments that were used in the process such as questionnaires, case study and interviews and these helped in the search of the data and processing it into information that was used in the research study. The major conclusions it has been research through below statements the women’s rights need to be respected and improved through their aims in their
choices such as uplifting the miniskirt law that abides the women on their choices of their fashion.
