Abstract/Description:
Digital image of a poster left at the Boston Marathon memorial in Copley Square. The words "Boston Children's Hospital" are handwritten in large letters at the top of the poster. Image in center is photo taken by Chris Pentacoff of "American flag" created by hackers on MIT's Green Building in the wake of the September 11th attacks. Messages include references to MIT and Simmons College, among other institutions. Geographic locations referenced include El Salvador and Miami (FL), among others. Several references to "Boston Strong." Many messages directed to first responders and Boston medical community.
