Philosophy as Education and the Criticism of Concepts

In this talk, I discuss Stanley Cavell’s idea of philosophy as the education of grownups in light of moral perfectionism. Then, I will ask how this understanding of philosophy as education sheds light on different ways of doing the critic of concepts in philosophical ethics.
