| Abstract: | This paper sheds light on the importance of different kinds of elasticities of substitution and examines the impacts by the tourism industry on the economy. We show the importance of strong interest in foreign culture, the elasticity of substitution among tourism goods in home country, that is foreign country, the elasticity of substitution between tourism goods in home and foreign, and transportation cost. |
