Abstract: Hydrazine is used on an increasing scale as a corrosion inhibiting additive in industry. The authors have found, that the determination of the pH value as a function of the hydrazine content can only be measured satisfactorily electrometrically and that pH indicator papers are useless for !his purpose due to the relatively small amount of hydrazine in the so/ution compared with the relatively large amount of indicator dye in the paper.
