腎周囲水瘤の1例

Abstract

A case of perinephric cyst was diagnosed preopera t ively by means of translumbar puncture of tumor (Fig. 1), renal arteriography (Fig. 2) and nephrography (Fig. 3). The patient was 42 year old female complaining of a right flank mass with fluctuation and intermittent hematuria. Incision of the cystic wall was performed (Fig. 4). The patient died of great loss of blood and body fluid from the wound on the 9th postoperative day. The cyst contained about 1, 000 ml. of reddish yellow bloody fluid surrounding a slightly swollen kidney. The author discussed the suspicious cause of this case 1) gradual changes of the blood stagnated around the kidney following to the previous trauma into the reddish yellow fliud. 2) urinary leakage through the renal paranchyma damaged by a probable neoplasm or the trauma mentioned above. Review of the literature revealed 11 cases of perinephric cyst in Japan.
