A Snapshot of SHORE Centre’s Newcomer Health Programs

This report presents the findings of research conducted by CESI’s Research Shop in partnership with Sexual Health Options, Resources and Education (SHORE) Centre based in the Waterloo Region. The objective of this research was to better understand the impacts of the Newcomer Health Programs through the experiences of recent program participants and volunteers. The report detailed the findings based on themes of accessibility, comfort, inclusion, acceptance and belonging. The results of this study may be used to communicate the programs’ impact on the community and to provide insight into their future development.
