The main objective of this final degree project is the study of the ground effect in a hexarotor, using both configuration: tilted rotors configuration and coplanar rotors configuration. To carry out this study, the first step was to import the Matlab-Simulink model used on the final degree project of my tutor, Mr. Antonio González Morgado, to which some modifications were applied in order to correct the ground effect. With this model, different situations are simulated in which the disturbances created by the ground effect are observed, both for the configuration of coplanar rotors and for the configuration of tilted rotors. After showing in these simulations the control disturbances due to ground effect, a bibliographic study is made with the solutions developed to cope with flight under ground effect. After analyzing and explaining the advantages and disadvantages of each of them, a new solution is proposed in this Final Degree Project: a low level force controller in each rotor. This method is implemented in the previous Maltab-Simulink simulator and, through different simulations, the improvement in control with the proposed method is demonstrated. |
