A abordagem do léxico na aula de espanhol como língua estrangeira

Abstract

O presente relatório inscreve-se no âmbito do Estágio Profissional do Mestrado em Ensino de Português no 3º ciclo do Ensino Básico e Ensino Secundário e do Espanhol nos Ensinos Básico e Secundário. Tem como finalidade documentar e refletir sobre o trabalho desenvolvido durante ano letivo 2012/2013 no contexto de intervenção pedagógica supervisionada numa turma de espanhol de 10º ano, nível A1, na qual foram implementadas atividades de léxico no sentido do desenvolvimento de uma competência comunicativa eficaz. O enquadramento teórico e contextual deste estudo, abordado no primeiro capítulo, focou-se em aspetos teóricos relevantes como: o papel do léxico na aprendizagem de uma língua estrangeira, à luz da literatura especializada e dos documentos orientadores, a abordagem comunicativa e as estratégias de aprendizagem na aquisição de léxico, para além de apresentar o contexto de intervenção. No desenvolvimento e avaliação da intervenção, presentes no segundo capítulo, são apresentadas as atividades e as estratégias de aprendizagem de léxico que foram implementadas nas aulas, fundamentadas nos pressupostos teóricos, para além da observação das aulas da professora cooperante e do diagnóstico de necessidades e interesses dos alunos. A síntese avaliativa do projeto desenvolvido foi realizada tendo por base os dados recolhidos nos questionários de autorregulação, para além de exemplos de tarefas realizadas pelos alunos. Mediante os resultados obtidos, foi possível determinar a importância do léxico na aprendizagem da língua, aferir as estratégias que propiciaram uma aprendizagem e uso de léxico numa perspetiva comunicativa, promotora de uma pedagogia para a autonomia e refletir sobre as limitações do projeto.

The present report is part of the Estágio Profissional (teaching practice) of the Master of Portuguese Teaching in the 3rd cycle of Basic and Secondary Education and Spanish Teaching in Basic and Secondary Education. As a result of the research project, this report has the purpose to document and reflect upon the work developed during the school year of 2012/2013, in the supervised pedagogical intervention context in a 10 th grade Spanish language class, in which lexicon activities were implemented with the purpose of developing an effective communicative competence. The theoretical framing of this study focused in three significant aspects: the role of lexicon on the learning of a foreign language, according to the perspective present in the writings and in the guiding and officials documents, the communicative approach within the lexicon teaching and the lexicon learning strategies. It presents the context of the intervention project. In the developing and evaluation of the intervention project, treated in the second part of the report, are presented activities and strategies of lexicon learning that were implemented in the classes, based on the theoretical approaches, the initial observation of classes and the diagnosis of students’ needs and interests. Finally, it was performed an evaluative synthesis of the project, based on the analysis of the data gathered through the auto regulation questionnaire, performed along the developing of the project, and through the examples of tasks performed by the students The results allowed us to determine the importance of the lexicon in the learning of a foreign language, to assess the strategies that favor the learning and usage of lexicon in a communicative approach, promoter of pedagogy to autonomy, and think about the limitations of the project.
