Jogos educativos para o desenvolvimento da competência de oralidade em PLE. Relato de uma experiência com alunos de nível A1

Abstract

O presente texto é um relatório de estágio relativo ao Mestrado em Português Língua Não Materna - Língua Estrangeira/Língua Segunda (MPLNM-LE/L2), no qual se reflete criticamente e se dá conta das ações realizadas em torno da exploração didática das potencialidades do uso de jogos educativos na aula de Português Língua Estrangeira (PLE), através da sua integração nas aulas de “Práticas de Audição-Conversação”, do nível A1 de PLE. Nele se discute a importância das competências de oralidade no ensino de línguas estrangeiras e os contributos que os jogos educativos podem dar para o desenvolvimento de tais competências. Paralelamente, relata-se a experiência letiva desenvolvida no decurso de um estágio realizado no BabeliUM – Centro de Línguas da Universidade do Minho, com alunos do nível de iniciação - A1, descrevendo todo o processo de ensino, com ênfase na planificação de sequências didáticas com recurso a jogos. Finalmente, apresentam-se e discutem-se os resultados obtidos por meio da recolha de dados empíricos sobre a integração de propostas lúdicas nas tarefas de desenvolvimento da oralidade.

The present text is an internship report concerning the Master's Degree in Portuguese as a Non-Mother Tongue - Foreign Language/Second Language (MPLNM-LE/L2), in which we critically reflect and report on the actions carried out around the didactic exploration of the potentialities of the use of educational games in the Portuguese as a Foreign Language (PLE) classroom, through their integration in the "Listening-Conversation Practices" lessons, of PLE A1 level. It discusses the importance of orality skills in foreign language teaching and the contribution that educational games can give to the development of such skills. At the same time, it reports the teaching experience developed during an internship at BabeliUM - Language Centre of the University of Minho, with students of beginner's level - A1, describing the whole teaching process, with emphasis on the planning of didactic sequences using games. Finally, the results obtained through the collection of empirical data on the integration of playful proposals in orality development tasks are presented and discussed.
