Uso de grafos na recuperação de imagens por conteúdo

Abstract

Resumo: Este trabalho apresenta a utilizaçao dos grafos para a representaçao do conteúdo das imagens. As pesquisas que relacionam a utilizaçao da teoria dos grafos estao ganhando espaço na busca de novas técnicas a serem usadas na computaçao de imagens. Os ARGs (Attribute Relacional Graphs) estao sendo pesquisados pela representaçao bastante abrangente que este tipo de grafo pode oferecer, pois além das informaçoes nos vértices e arestas, pode-se utilizar atributos relacionados. Neste trabalho será apresentado como os ARGs podem auxiliar nas etapas de representaçao e indexaçao em um sistema de recuperaçao de imagens por conteúdo (SRIC)

Abstract: This work presents the use of the graphs for the representation of the content of the images. The research that relates the use of the theory of the graphs is gaining space in the search of new techniques to be used in the image processing. The ARGs (Attribute Relational Graphs) are being searched for the efficient representation that this type of graph can offer, therefore beyond the information in the vertices and edges can be used related attributes. In this work it will be presented as the ARGs can assist in the stages of representation and indexation in Content-based images retrieval systems (CBIRS).
