Prisões e quebradas : o campo em evidência

Abstract

Resumo: A partir de minha trajetória biográfica, opção política e exigência lógica do método e referencial teórico adotado, elemento central que me possibilitou retirar a máscara da performance de meus interlocutores, vendo-os e sendo visto e tratado como um igual, aproximei-me dos rincões da extrema pobreza localizados nos bairros periféricos dos grandes centros urbanos, o qual denominei como quebrada. Evidenciando as configurações sociais, ajustamento de posições e dinâmica interrelacional dos indivíduos em suas estratégias de sobrevivência, procurei, a partir da teoria sociológica de Pierre Bourdieu, decodificar o habitus padrão desses locais e compará-los ao habitus prisional, demonstrando que a quebrada e a prisão são espaços interseccionais, produtos de um campo simbiótico cada vez mais central para se compreender os fenômenos da miséria, exclusão, encarceramento, violência e extermínio de determinada parcela da população. Abstract: Based on my biographical trajectory, my political options and the logical requirements of the method and the theoretical references adopted in this research - central element that allowed me to remove the acting mask of my interlocutors, seeing them and, at the same time, being seen and treated by them as an equal - I approached myself to the corners of extreme poverty in suburban neighborhoods of the big cities and urban centers, which I've named as "quebradas". Evidencing the social configurations, positional adjustment and inter-relational dynamics of individuals in their survival strategies, I sought, from the sociological theory of Pierre Bourdieu, to decode the standard habitus of these places. The research tried to compare it to the prison habitus, demonstrating that the "quebradas" and the jail are intersectional spaces, products of an symbiotic field that is increasingly central to understand the phenomena of misery, exclusion, imprisonment, violence and extermination of a certain part of people.
