A library student survey done in spring 2015 at Rice University shows that both undergraduate students and graduate students are most interested in taking library short courses on creating infographics and data visualization. In answering students’ call, staff at Digital Media Commons (DMC) developed a couple of new workshops and revamped some old workshops in this regard. This session will share experiences and findings on offering these workshops. Participants will learn about tools and resources on creating infographics and data visualization as well.
