Abstract :
[en] Investigations of novel binders for cemented carbides have gained more interest since the standard cobalt binder is listed as critical raw material by the European Commission. Different alternatives have been proposed in the literature based on thermodynamic phase diagrams. This poster proposes a thermodynamic and mechanical study of metallic binders in iron and nickel alloys.
