Abstract
En el presente Informe de Tesis LA INFLUENCIA DE LA TELEVISIÓN Y EL INTERNET EN EL APRENDIZAJE DE LOS NIÑOS Y NIÑAS DEL QUINTO Y SEXTO GRADO DE EDUCACIÓN PRIMARIA DE LA INSTITUCIÓN EDUCATIVA GUSTAVO RÍES, DE LA CIUDAD DE TRUJILLO, PROVINCIA DE TRUJILLO, DEPARTAMENTO LA LIBERTAD, AÑO 2014. Se trabajó con 130 alumnos y alumnas del 5° grado y 6º grado de educación primaria que oscilan entre los 09 y 13 años de edad, con el objetivo de conocer cómo influye la televisión y el internet en el aprendizaje de los niños del quinto y sexto grado de educación primaria en la Institución Educativa Gustavo Ríes. Se utilizaron técnicas como la observación, la entrevista, la encuesta social y el test; las cuales permitieron recaudar datos significativos, que dieron a conocer estados de opinión, características y hechos específicos; lo cual conllevó al conocimiento de que los alumnos del 5° grado y 6º grado de educación primaria se encuentran atravesando un nivel de aprendizaje deficiente, el cual no les permite desarrollarse intelectualmente, ni socialmente; todo esto se ve afectado debido a que a través de los años la televisión y el internet se han ido posesionando cada vez más y más, alcanzando un lugar importante en la vida de los alumnos y desplazando el tiempo que debería ser dedicado al trabajo escolar y al desarrollo del aprendizaje; provocando así un decline en sus notas y promedios. Además tanto la televisión como el internet también influye negativamente al desplazar la interacción familiar con el mínimo intercambio de opiniones y conversación con sus padres, por el exceso de tiempo de exposición dedicado a estos medios de comunicación, asimismo se encuentran influyendo en la interacción con sus pares; ya que muestran preferencia para conectarse a una página social que participar en juegos deportivos o actividades al aire libre; todo está deteniendo el desarrollo personal, familiar y social del alumno.

In this thesis report "THE INFLUENCE OF TELEVISION AND THE INTERNET IN LEARNING CHILDREN OF THE FIFTH AND SIXTH GRADES OF PRIMARY EDUCATION IN THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION GUSTAVO RIES, IN THE TRUJILO CITY, TRUJILLO’S PROVINCE, LA LIBERTAD DEPARTAMENT, 2014. It was worked with 130 students from the fifth and sixth grade education ranging between 9 and 13 years old, in order to know how it influences television and the Internet in the learning of the children of the fifth and sixth grade primary education in the educational institution Gustavo Ries. The techniques were used as observation, interview, social survey and test; which allowed to collect meaningful data, which released statements of opinion, features and specific facts; which led to the research that the students of fifth and sixth graders are going through a poor level of learning, which does not allow them to develop intellectually neither socially; all of this is affected because of that the through of years the television and the internet have been taken each time more and more, reaching an important place in the lives of students and displacing time that should be dedicated to school work and to the development of learning; thus causing a decline in their scores and averages. besides, as television and as Internet also negatively affects family interaction to move with minimal exchange of views and conversation with their parents, by excessive exposure time spent on these media, are also influencing the interaction with their peers; since them shows preference to connect to a social site than to participate in sports games or outdoor activities; all of this is stopping the personal, family and social development of students.
