Abstract :
[en] Measurements of suspended load carried by the river have been made during floods at eight locations. Regression lines were obtained for the relationship between discharge of water and the amount of suspended load. Comparisons between the regressions at the different places indicate parts of the river where some sedimentation occurs and other parts where some new sediments are added in the river bed. Alterations of the natural river bed made for navigation purposes and the location of factories and quarries near the river explain the observed variations of suspended load.
